Tomatoes would have to be the most popular backyard "vegie" grown in Melbourne, but not all experience success. This class helps you get the basics right: from choosing varieties, to soil preparation, growing from seed or seedling, growing in pots, watering, feeding and, of course, eating!

Come in and pot up some delicious gifts for friends, family and teachers. Different combinations of ornamental and edible plants and pots will be available for purchase at 10% discount on the night only, for you to pot up and take home to give away as Christmas gifts. (Potting mix used with these pots will be free on the night). We will also make plant tags and care instructions for the plants for a really personalised touch. Class numbers are limited.
