Jenny is a sculptor who works in many types of stone and specialises in figurative works. She has taken part in a number of hands-on sculpture symposia, exhibited her work and won awards. Jenny has a bright personality and loves to share her love of sculpting.

Jeanette is a fibre and clay artist who has been weaving baskets for 20 years. She has exhibited her artwork, attended workshops, visited basket weavers and potters in New Zealand, America and France as well as Australia. She is also an art teacher and has run her own craft shop. Come to this class and make an 8” Appalachian melon basket from cane, seagrass and natural fibres. Jeanette learnt this type of weaving during a teacher exchange in the USA for a year in Pennsylvania.
Cost: $ 75 when booking plus $20 for materials (handles, cane, grasses & fibres) to be paid to Jeanette on the day.

SATURDAY 28th April 10am to 4.30pm and Sunday 29th April 3pm to 5pm (to grout your finished work).
Come along to learn the basic techniques used in mosaics and use your imagination to make an unusual mosaic. Sandra is an art teacher who creates many of the mosaic artworks to be found in the Bulleen Art & Garden shop area.
Items to be mosaic-ed are available for purchase at BAAG; or you may have something special of your own. Glass and some ceramic tiles and pebbles are available for purchase; or bring your own
Cost includes glue and grout and some tools to share.

This workshop is sold out - but we will be organising another one in May Come and learn simple sculpture and handbuilding techniques with paper clay. Make and decorate your own whimsical Garden Totem. Avis is a professional ceramicist from the UK with over twenty years experience whose practice includes Sculpture and Jewellery. .
